Santa Venera is an up-and-coming place to live in Malta, particularly for professionals and families looking for a great investment. It is handily located in the island’s centre, between Hamrun, Msida, Qormi, and Birkirkara. With a history dating back centuries, as evidenced by the Old Church from 1473, the area has a certain charm punctuated by the historic Wignacourt Aqueduct, built in 1610. There are several landmark palazzo’s in the area, although if you are looking to purchase, it is better to set your sights on an apartment or townhouse instead.
Santa Venera is great for those working in the central harbour regions and in any of the nearby corporate and office spaces that line the main arterial roads. The town is also home to several excellent schools, including Saint Elias College and St Michael’s College.
